1. A Will be transmitted on 2187.5 kHz or another DSC frequency, depending on the manufacturer.
2. B Will always be transmitted on 2187.5 kHz and 8414.5 kHz to trip DSC alarms on the mandatory MF/HF DSC watch frequencies.
3. C Will always be transmitted on 2187.5 kHz to alert the nearest vessels and coast stations.
4. D None of the above
