1. A Distress communications by NBDP should be in the ARQ mode when in communications with the Coast Guard or other coast stations.
2. B The Rescue Coordination Center (RCC) is responsible for controlling a search and rescue operation and will also coordinate the Distress traffic relating to the incident.
