Engine 2014: Motor Plants and Auxiliary Boilers

1. A Check valves are to be located at the service tank and be so arranged as to be operable from the uppermost platform of the engine compartment.
2. B Cut-out valves are to be located at the service tanks and be so arranged as to be operable from the engine room floor plates.
3. C Strainers are to be provided in the fuel oil injection pump discharge line and shall be capable of being cleaned while  the engine is in operation.
4. D The injection line is to be of seamed drawn pipe and fittings are to be extra heavy.
