1. A an additional pump is not required provided the engine driven pump is capable of producing sufficient pressure regardless of the direction of rotation
2. B no additional pumps are required if the vessel is equipped  with two propulsion engines clutched to reduction gears through a suitable arrangement
3. C an independently driven pump capable of supplying each engine with sufficient quantities of oil during ahead operations is required
4. D an independently driven stand-by pump is not required if a complete duplicate of the attached pump is carried as a spare
