1. A The piping shall be shielded and secured to prevent fuel or fuel mist from reaching a source of ignition on the engine  or its surroundings.
2. B The piping shall be directed to the fuel oil day tank, in addition it shall enter below the normal operating level of the tank.
3. C Most diesel injection systems do not develop high pressures in their return lines due to regulations prohibiting installation of valves in these lines.
4. D Return piping is required to be protected by relief valves  which relieve to the diesel oil settling tank.
