1. A Most of the thrust produced is counter balanced by the action of a dummy piston.
2. B Only a small portion of the thrust produced is counter balanced by the action of a dummy piston.
3. C The thrust is minimized by equalizing holes drilled in the  turbine wheels.
4. D The thrust is transmitted to and absorbed by the high speed pinion and gear.
