1. A A failure of the regulator pressure actuating system, such as from a leaky bellows, will tend to close the feed water valve.
2. B The regulator is designed to always maintain a constant water level throughout the entire boiler load range.
3. C The water side line leading to the inner tube is normally insulated.
4. D The pressure in the inner tube acts upon the bellows of the regulator.
