1. A The valve should secure the fires if the main propulsion turbine overspeeds.
2. B The valve must be manually reset to the open position prior to relighting burners after a safety shutdown.
3. C The valve will automatically reopen from a low water shutdown once water level is restored.
4. D The valve will automatically close if boiler pressure drops 20% below normal working pressure
