1. A Support the rotor by placing the rotor on suitable blocks insuring that the windings and core take the entire weight
2. B Support the rotor by placing the rotor on suitable blocks insuring that the shaft ends take the entire weight
3. C Support the rotor by standing it upright and properly securing it in an out of the way corner
4. D Support the rotor by suspending using rigging slings taking care that the windings and core take the entire weight
