1. A Backflush water would cause the oil accumulated in the upper section of the tank to be forced back into the bilge spaces.
2. B The separator operation would stall as a result of oil remaining on the longer probe of item "S".
3. C The separator operation would stall do to the presence of  water at the shorter probe of item "S".
4. D The separator operation would continue as valve 'V4' is only used during the remote manual mode.
