1. A Ensuring that the emergency lighting and power systems are operated and inspected at least once in each week the vessel is navigated.
2. B Seeing that all lifeboat winch control apparatus including  motor controllers, limit switches, etc. are examined at least once in each 3 months.
3. C Obtaining a sample of all fuel oil received on board to be  used as fuel along with ascertaining all particulars such as vendor, producer, flash point, etc.
