Engine 2014: General Subjects

1. A Flat locks are no longer used in the marine industry and should be replaced during the next maintenance procedure.
2. B When torque values of 25 foot pounds or greater are being used, replacement with spring washers is mandatory.
3. C Bellvue washers are the ideal substitute for these locking  devices provided a thread locking adhesive is used.
4. D Replacement with another nut locking device is unnecessary.
