1. A Foam will blanket the fire and cut off the supply of oxygen but it does not provide the best cooling protection for the firefighters.
2. B Foam will blanket the fire and cut off the supply of oxygen and it also provides excellent cooling protection for the firefighters.
3. C Foam will blanket the fire and cut off the supply of oxygen and is therefore perfectly suited to A, B and C class fires.
4. D Foam will blanket the fire and cut off the supply of oxygen but it does generate toxic vapors that may harm the firefighters.
