1. A Buoyant vests may be substituted for life jackets.
2. B Life preservers are designed to turn an unconscious person's face clear of the water.
3. C Life preservers must always be worn with the same side facing outwards to float properly.
4. D Lightly stained or faded life jackets will fail in the water and should not be used.
