1. A Both vessels must alter course to starboard and pass port to port.
2. B Both vessels must alter course to port and pass starboard to starboard.
3. C Vessel "A" should maintain course and vessel "B" alter course.
4. D The vessels should determine which will alter course by sounding whistle signals.
