1. A Be painted a contrasting color from the base color for safety
2. B It shall always be open to view so, if a foreign object gets in the gearing, the operator can immediately stop the machinery
3. C Not be operated if there is any crew within 10 feet of the machinery
4. D Mechanical gearing shall have a guard over any rotating components
