| They say "may" not because there are other vessels that display a blue flashing light, but because law enforcement vessels aren't required to display the flashing blue light. |

| Correct answer is Flashing blue light. A flashing amber light is for a submarine ship of war, and a flashing red light and a blue flag don't even make since as a possible answer choice. |

| this question includes the term "may" and should not. blue lights are always that of law enforcement. are they not? |
