I'm curious about peoples current experience with wait times from NMC
I sent my application on 12/30/13
passed medical review in a couple hours on 1/17/2014
now waiting professional review. on 2/5
anybody get approved to test recently - when did you pass med review?
thanks

I submitted my application on the first of December. I'm still currently waiting for my approval to test. The biggest wait time for mine has been waiting to have my sea time assigned to an evaluator. I called them to see what was the hold up and they told me they normally process 500 applications a month. Last month they received over 3000 and that has been the trend this winter. Here is hoping your goes faster than mine.

Wow, thanks.

I submitted my packet the beginning of October and was approved to test December 8th but got the letter a week after my approval date. They seem really slow with the mail. I initially got kicked back for a sea time letter question. I got the letter 2 weeks later but I knew because I called every week. Keep checking on your packet by phone. Getting a letter that you have 90 days to comply with corrections when it is dated two weeks ago is a little annoying.
