Mike123, here’s how to deal with these questions. Draw a ship symbol on paper, that’s you, pointed east 090 degrees. The other vessel’s sidelight is said to be off your port beam, so draw a line straight up (north) which is a bearing line to the other guy. You know that his red sidelight shows thru 112.5 degrees, starting with head on. So, if he was steering 180 degrees you would see red and green. If he were steering 182 degrees, all the way up to. 294.5 (182 + 112.5) degrees, you would only see his red sidelight. The only answer choice that falls between 182 and 294.5 degrees is 225, the correct answer. It may sound silly, but drawing it out will really help.
