I think there needs to be an overhaul standardizing the lights, shapes, sounds, and verbage. I got it right but two ways of saying the same thing should be acceptable.

Still conforms to PESO, though, because you have to maneuver to starboard to pass on port. The question is the verbiage in COLREGS which I agree is tricky.
