I know that the Murphy Books used to have a section in one of their question and answere books for the 1600 ton Masters exam. Meaning the 35 question exam you can take if you have a second mates license. Assuming that it is still possible to take. Does anyone know if it still exist, or is there something similar to this?

Hey Obabajka,
Heres what I found off the Coast Guards site:
Page 62: 46CFR 11.412(b): Applicants who meet all requirements for Second Mate AGT Oceans or Near Coastal can add an
endorsement for Master NMT 1600 GRT, on the same route, by taking module 011X1 Deck/Navigation General and
Deck Safety.
