For anyone wondering about the answer, Rule 27 (D) (iv) Dredge pipelines that are floating or supported on trestles shall display the following lights at night and in periods of restricted visibility. (2) Two red lights at each end of the pipeline, including the ends in channel where the pipeline is separated to allow vessels to pass (whether open or closed). |

I do not understand this answer. How are you supposed to go between 4 red lights? |

I am probably being dense, but I have no idea what this diagram signifies and why you would pass at A. Two red light on each side does not make sense to me. Please can someone help! |
