The Cleveland Indians remained on the move Friday to play the first of a three-game set against the Kansas City Royals. Thanks to some high-powered offense, the Tribe took the first game, 10-1, in the important divisional match Mi ke Williams Jersey -up. Corey Kluber got the win for the Tribe, his 12th of the year. As the Indians ready to play in their 12th straight game tomorrow night, here are our three takeaways.1. Bruce Almighty! Tonight was only the ninth game for Jay Bruce as a Cleveland Indian, and yet, it's hard to imagine this team without him. Bruce was once again absolutely dominant, recording three hits and five RBI in five at-bats. The five RBI were just one shy of his career high, but even more Zio n Johnson Jersey impre sive is the fact that two of those at-bats were home runs. The first ho mer came in the first inning, when Bruce hit a two-run bomb to right center field to give Cleveland a 3-0 lead. His second homer came in the seventh inning when he rocked another pitch over the center field wall to score Austin Jackson and Edwin Encarnacion, and to give the Indians an eight run lead, 9-1. In his nine games since joining the squad, Bruce is batting .406 (13-for-32). Friday also marked his 25th career multi-homer game. There's also been plenty of wealth to go around. Since Bruce joined the Indians, Carlos Santana, Encarnacion and Bruce have all had multi-homer games.Scroll to Continue2. Kluber's Outing Corey Kluber gave up six hits, one Los Angeles Chargers Sleepwear Underwear run, one walk and stuck out four in five and one-third innings of work. With only four strikeouts, Kluber's streak of eight-plus strikeout games ended at 14. His run was the fourth longest in league history. The scariest part of the evening, however, was when Kluber landed awkwardly and seemed to roll his right ankle as he was running from the mound to cover first base in the sixth inning. He stayed in the game for one more batter before manager Terry Francona yanked him. The team gave official word that Kluber has a right ankle sprain. Following the win, Francona said that the sprain is not a high ankle sprain, and that it's believed to be mild. He also said that Kluber will likely try and pitch a bullpen se sion this week, and if all goes well he won't need to mi s a start.3. Dominant offense in the race for the division The Indians bats as a whole tonight were firing on all cylinders. Cleveland recorded 13 hits in 40 at-bats (.325) as a team. Their four homers as a team accounted for seven of their 10 Der win James Jersey runs. It will be great news for the Tribe if they can keep their bats swinging and build some momentum in an important divisional match-up, especially considering the fact that the team is still without Michael Brantley and Lonnie Chisenhall. Heading into Friday La nce Alworth Jersey night, Kansas City had a half game lead on the Twins for second place in the AL Central, and the Indians sat atop the division with a five and a half game lead. While the Twins won tonight, pushing them into second place ahead of the Royals, the Indians now sit six games ahead of Minnesota and six and a half games ahead of Kansas City. This series gives the Tribe a good chance to separate themselves from Kansas City even further, a chance they will get again next weekend when the Royals make their way to Progre sive Field for another three-game set.
